ICES (Sky Blue), Bexhill-on-Sea, 2020 Print Signed on the frontICES, by Richard Heeps, photographed at the British Seaside at the end of summer 2020. This artwork is about evoking memories of the simple joy of days by the beach. The sky blue colour blocking, typography and the surreal twist of the suspended ice cream cone, cross many of Richards artistic signatures. Richard runs his own colour darkroom in Cambridge printing his photographs from negative and chose to frame this image with the Kodak film rebate.
