Put together in an effort to reuse parts from poorly perfoming guitars and basses, the Swinger was a mish mash of leftovers from the factory that Fender (owned by CBS at the time) were trying to turn into cash! It performed terribly and very few Swingers were ever produced. However due to the collectability of vintage Fenders, the Swinger saw a revival
