Aculeata means spines that are present on the lamina of the leaf and the teeth edged borders. This succulent grows as a rosette reaching a height between 30 to 60 cm. Commonly known as Red Hot Poker Aloe, the drought tolerant plant grows well in light shade to direct sunlight in non afternoon hours. It blooms into orange to yellow flowers during
