Glen Scotia 8y/o SMWS 93 Rare Release 'Changes Faster than a Chameleon' 59.7%ABV 30ml reviewed by: Jonny McCormick 2021A 2022 release from SMWS for the Campbeltown Malts Festival. A vatting of first fill bourbon casks from Glen Scotia. Some people thought this was a bit youthful and intense the alcohol isn't perfectly integrated and its a bit rough and spirity on the nose a drop of water really opens it up. I really liked it a maritime fruit bomb with honey on the nose and on the palate orchard and tropical fruits, some minerally chalky notes and ginger and oak spices
