Inspired by the screen legend Marilyn Monroe, in this collage I wanted to experiment with colour and to try using a street art pop style depiction to create a darker mood. I see a sadness behind the eyes of Marilyn Monroe which reflects so often in todays society and the selfie culture where we portray an image to the outside world which doesnt necessarily convey who we are and what we are
