It’s easy to miss if I let myself get distracted

We didn’t get very far along the steep wall of our hike before our kids’ fear and tears took over

I could barely listen

and they are a symbol of home

You can see its kind of wild with the paint splatters through the sky and in the water. I got the paper very watered down before I laid any pigment down, and then I worked in layers, drying in between with a heat gun. Its so fun to play around with mediums in non typical ways. It helps me continue to learn how the particular medium behaves, and it helps to keep the childlike
