Vaio is in fact an old adjective standing for "spotted or dappled with dark or black spots" and for "blackening, as said of fruit, olives, grapes, when ripening". We have named this wine Vaio in honor of this old word now forgotten. Our Vaio red wine, yet another precious gem coming from the territory
