Bunnahabhain 2015 Port Wood Finish "Bonfires and Blackberries" The Golden Cut 50%ABV 30ml Tasmania Bottling from the 2017 IslayBottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, 'The Golden Cut' selection is a new range of whiskies all bottled at 50% and positioned as more premium than the 'The Coopers Choice' range. This is a peated Bunnahabhain finished in Ruby Port casks which gives a lovely rich smoky and jammy profile. Not all peated whiskies work well with port casks but Bunnahabhain and Laphroaig seem to get it right more often than not.
