An Escape to Joy Mary Jane Page which blends rustic warmth withHayden Chrisholm I was inspired by Transformer toys from my childhood. As a kid I used to be really into transformers because I thought them to be really cool and intricate (I still do). The imagery in the painting is representing how I would cope with the world around me. The bottom part of the work is full of dull colours, dead plants, and fire, showing how being a kid in a new world with parents that were always yelling made me remember it
