A Sleepless Summer represents the pain of going from having someones constant company, to feeling all alone. The soft, pastel colours set against the rich skin tones are reflective of the need to be gentle and kind to ourselves during heartache. This painting was deliberately done on a big canvas to reflect the enormity of the emotion felt when having your heart broken. Oils on Canvas 85 x 120 cms
