Our plant came to us from the Marie Selby Botanical Garden with their accession number of SEL2007 0250, as collected in 1990 by G. K. Brown & C. A. Palaci. It superficially resembles a much smaller clone of Deuterocohnia longipetala but is stoloniferous. Like D. longipetala, it has yellow flowers on a perennial bloom spike.
