Bitoque 'Negra Criolla En Tinaja' Bolivia 2022 Style:Red typical for the areaFrom Negra Criolla vines planted at 2300 2400 meters above sea level in Bolivia's Cinti Valley. They are tended by local farmers but essentially grow wild, climbing up into the canopy of pink peppercorn trees. Winemaker Alejandro Medina grew up in Santa Barbara, California but regularly traveled to Bolivia to visit his father's family. Before he passed away, he and Alejandro worked together to find some of the ancient vines that go into this wine.
