Glenallachie 14y/o 2009 Madeira Barrique#7651 59.5%ABV 30ml The palate has richMadeira Single cask from Glenallachie exclusive to Germany. This had pretty high scores on whisky base and from German reviewers so I had high expectations. This has lovely madeira notes to start then a feisty hot alcohol punch in the middle and the finish is long a little spicy woody astringent then the nice Madeira notes appear right at the finish. Billy Walker has a cult following and some people love Madeira casks so this might account for the
