Ananas 'Uba Tuba' Size:6-inch Pot A new release from ChesterA naturally variegated plant found in the wild by Raphael Olivera in the vicinity of Ubatuba, Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1998. It was grown on for ultimate release by Chester Skotak and released in 2010. The plant grows large, to at least 3 feet across with inch wide leaves bearing large marginal spines and bold creamy white variegation up the center of the leaves. In strong light the plant takes on a pinkish or reddish blush.
