Harry Carpenter called his places "The Original Modern Drive In" which were open 24 hours a day. Customers could have a "Real Hamburger " sandwich for 15 cents and any other "Sit'N Eat" sandwich in their car. Service was also available at the gleaming tiled "sanitized" counter inside.
