This heat bodied oil is made from well refined linseed oil from American flax seeds that is cooked in closed kettles. Kettle Bodied Linseed Oils are heat polymerized oils made in closed kettles. They are of medium acid range and light color. Kettle bodied linseed oil is a stand oil that gives gloss, brushabilty and low yellowing characteristics when compared to other stand or bodied oils.
