Mongolian Side Cabinet - Early 19th Century Vases This striking lacquered sideboard wasThis exceptional two drawer Mongolian cabinet is an original piece that dates from the early 19th century. The painting and heavy brass fittings are all original. The outline of a brass locking plate can be clearly seen in the center of the cabinet, this would have been secured with a padlock. The front of the cabinet is decorated with painted household objects such as a go board, vases, books, scrolls, an incense burner, and a running dog pattern.
