Morn by T & R Boote old bridge This large 8" square tileA striking tile from the Aesthetic Movement is from the company T & R Boote in Burslem, Staffordshire England (1842 1962). Titled "Morn" it shows an morning image of a rooster crowing at the rising sun and chasing the fox away. The contrast between black and brown is sharp and the finish is glossy. Measures 6" x 6" x 1 2". Very good condition. Flakes around the edges and some surface scratches. A rare and desirable series to collect.
