All our mirrors are made from either reclaimed wood rescued from demolished buildings or sustainable mango wood

The majority of this piece is cypress wood with the central floating panel constructed from huali (rosewood)  It has stylized bats carved into the side

Doors like this would have been used internally within homes to separate different rooms and would have been incredibly costly to make requiring skilled painters with a detailed eye and steady hand

The dark aged surface has developed a rich patina over many decades

Vintage Chinese Market Trug - Ca 1920's Cushions All our mirrors are madeAntique Chinese wooden trugs like this were used by traders for taking their goods to the market to sell, and for measuring rice. They would also be used by farmers for moving goods around on the farm. It has been very skillfully constructed, note the detailed work of the corners. Hand made from poplar wood. This trug is at least 100 years old and has seen a lot of practical use in its time. It has tons of character and is still very much usable today
