This classic design is from the old kingdom of Mewar in South Rajasthan. Mewar was one of four Rajput schools of painting. Mewar design has a strong Mughal influence. It would make a stunning piece of wall art. The background still has its original vermillion & cinnabar paint and the panels are inset with mica which would have sparkled in the
