Bronze Shiva Nataraj Statue From South India - Early 20thC Lighting This chest is mid 19thCA South Indian bronze figure of Shiva Nataraj dancing on Apasmara Purusha, 20th century, modelled within a ring of flames and on a lotus moulded rectangular plinth. Chola period bronzes were created using the lost wax technique. The process is commonly known as Cire Perdue. Beeswax is mixed with a little oil and kneaded well to soften it.
