Bottled at cask strength, 64. 1% abv, on January 15th, 2008 making it a touch over 36 years old. Karuizawa closed the distillery in 2001 and eventually sold off the remaining aging stocks to Independent bottler Number One Drinks in 2007 reviving the brand and the lore of the once famed distillery.
