The Ginger family of lamps has a disk shaped shade inspired by the drums used by Ginger Baker of the 1960s rock band Cream. Joan Gaspar overcame the difficulties of working with wood to create a handsome, cosy lamp emitting a soft, warm light. The collection features innovative materials and techniques, using layers of wood, paper, and resin moulded at high pressure to create an ultra thin shade that is
