Civil Division. In silver gilt, a red enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, the obverse medallion featuring a gilded bust of St. Gregory on blue enamels, surrounded by a ring inscribed S. GREGORIUS MAGNUS, the reverse medallion presents a blue medallion features the inscribed PRO DEO ET PRINCIPE, the surround in inscribed GREGORIUS XVI P. M. ANNO., the cross is surmounted by a green and red
