Germany, Luftwaffe. A Flak Badge, with Case, Early Example by Gustav Brehmer visually-hidden with some loss of finish(Flak Kampfabzeichen der Luftwaffe). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a central Flak 88 with its barrel raised and extending beyond the edge of the wreath, the reverse with a narrow barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of an
