A 241St Infantry Battalion "Canadian Scottish Borderers" Glengarry Badge Auction and thence re-embarked for CanadaCanada; Pickled copper, unmarked, 56. 3 mm (w) x 55. 7 mm (h), both lugs intact, extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Western Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Windsor under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 29, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel W. L. McGregor with a strength of 21 officers and 625 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 12th Reserve Battalion.
