Made by Kathmandu Valley craftspeople in the same broom grass and binding tradition as the larger household brooms, scaled down and finer for the smoke tool format. Held at the bound shaft, brush end forward, the kuchu fans or sweeps incense smoke across rooms, into corners, or toward specific areas
