A First War Cef 204Th Infantry Battalion "Toronto Beavers" Cap Badge certificate_of_authenticity 8 December 1898 (Pursuit ofCanada; Browning copper, unmarked, 45. 3 mm x 46. 5 mm, intact lugs, contact marks and green oxidation evident on the obverse, near very fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised and mobilized in Toronto, Ontario under that authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed March 28, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel W. H. Price with a strength of 27 officers and 789 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 2nd
