The blend is a co fermentation of three Lodi old vine landmarks: Cinsault from Bechtold Vineyard (planted in 1886, some of the oldest Cinsault vines on earth), Carignane from Spenker Ranch, and Zinfandel from Tegan's own Kirschenmann Vineyard in Victor (planted 1915). All three sites share the sandy granitic loam that gives Sandlands its name,
