Germany, Heer. A Gebirgsjäger Officer’s Visor Cap, by G.A. Hoffmann Hold Three and a half weeks(Heer Schirmmtze fr einen Offizier der Gebirgstruppe). A very well preserved Heer Gebirgsjger Officers visor cap, constructed of field grey wool. It features reinforced side walls fully lined on the exterior with a dark green wool cap band. Both the top and bottom edges of the cap band are trimmed with green piping, while an additional length of identical piping borders the outer edge of the crown. Pinned onto the peak is an insignia consisting of an
