Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Toronto, Ontario under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed April 18, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel F. L. Burton with a strength of 30 officers and 783 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was
