A South Africa Campaign Medal for Combatants consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac hallmarked and marked "ARGENT" on(Sdwest Afrika Denkmnze fr Nichtkmpfer). Constructed of bronze gilt, the obverse bearing a raised depiction of Germania, circumscribed by an inscription of SUEDWEST AFRIKA 1904 06, the reverse bearing a raised monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm II, circumscribed by an inscription of VERDIENST UM DIE EXPEDITION (SERVICE TO THE EXPEDITION), unmarked, measuring 32. 6 mm in diameter, worn on the original ribbon with KALAHARI 1908 clasp, light wear, very fine
