one teardrop has minor wear to part of the carving at the base but not at all noticeable when worn

cut on the bias to utilise those stripes into attractive chevrons

1960s Beetle print batik dress - Small Antique printed with incredible Art NouveauAn interesting early 1960s day dress, in what I believe to be Indonesian batik printed cotton, featuring stylised florals, huge peacocks, and Atlas beetles in flight! Semi fitted bodice, with pleat details to a rigid waistline, and straight skirt below. The chest fastens with popstuds, behind fabric bow at collared neckline, and two large covered buttons. Side metal zip to fasten. No labels, but I found a piece of same age in very very similar fabric
