ボタニカルダイとは、植物や果実、樹木など、自然の植物から色素を抽出する染色方法で 物理的に人間の目には見えないものも含まれた、約200種もの色素を含み、光が乱反射し、屈折する事で、目にはみえない「ゆらぎ」が生まれ、鮮やかで深みのある色合いに染め上がります。従来の草木染めとは異なり、植物本来の色味を鮮やかに表現するとともに、しっかりと色素を定着させることで色落ちが少なく、耐久性に優れた染色方法です。
